To determine which version of the lock you have, please check the following:
Black, square shoot bolt cone (located at the top of the panel) – This indicates a later version of the lock.

Hexalok is our latest lock for sliding doors, featuring a newly developed 6-point mechanism. Introduced in mid-April 2024, these locks include an additional security mushroom bolt, enhancing security and significantly improving the look, feel, and overall performance of the lock and its operation.
The Hexalok fits into the same position as our previous Pentalock version and uses the same machining within the panel, requiring no additional changes for retrofitting. However, due to the repositioned mushroom bolt and additional locking point, the outer frame keep has different hole positions.
If you need to upgrade to the Hexalok, new holes must be drilled in the outer frame behind the new keep. Therefore, both the lock and the keep will need to be replaced.
